Sketches for Iceberg Illustration

I found these preliminary sketches for one of the early whale illustrations and thought they were kind of neat. I don't usually do this much sketching for them, but I was still working out the style and size here.

Fossil Shark Tooth Collection

I like collecting things.
I've amassed a pretty good collection of fossilized shark teeth. It's fun hunting for them and I've seen a lot of wildlife and other interesting things while searching for these.

These were collected in Maryland, along the Potomac River and Chesapeake Bay. I've also found arrowheads, Native American beads, other fossils - including Crocodile teeth and coral, and a lot of sea glass!
